What I mean by the word, Looks.

I base my Photoshoot on looks. So, let’s talk about what I mean and what I’m looking for when I ask a client, model, etc., to select your photo based on looks.

Same look

The first is simple: the wardrobe is the same. It doesn’t matter if you look left or right, standing or lying down—it’s still one look. If the lighting changes in the shot, it’s still one look because the wardrobe is the same.

Different look

Now, if we change something in the wardrobe, that will give a different look—a hat, glasses, gloves, etc. Also, adding or removing a prop gives a different look.

I hope this clarifies what I define as looks when I ask you to select three to five photos per look.
